One Person White Water Raft

June 21, 2023 by Ben Leave a Comment

We picked up the Boatify One Person White Water Raft to use at the lake this summer.  Boatify One Person Inflatable White Water River Raft

The Boatify One Person Inflatable White Water River Raft is a miniature White Water Raft that is only 6.9 feet long and just as durable as a full-size model. It is small enough to fit inside our van and with its solid SUP-style construction we can be sure it will survive for many summers at the lake.

Keep reading and find out our thoughts about this compact, durable, and best of all fun…

Boatify One Person Inflatable White Water River Raft

We are loving the Boatify One Person Inflatable White Water River Raft. It has a solid construction, it is incredibly comfortable to sit in and use. Being small enough to fit inside the van makes moving to and from the lake easier without inflating and deflating unnecessary times. This raft will enable many fun adventures around the lake as well as some fun floats down the river.

Choosing The Best Inflatable Boat

We had a few criteria to meet when choosing the best inflatable boat to suit our needs.
  • Small enough to fit inside our van fully inflated. Inflating at the lake is not a big deal and is done relatively quickly. Being able to just toss it in the van means not having to pack it down when we are done. This is a huge benefit when you have tired and hungry kids wanting to go home.
  • Durable enough to last for many years. We need the construction type and material to be strong and durable. Peace of mind that it will not fail prematurely and leave us disappointed.
  • Good value for money. We wanted a raft that was not overly expensive but not cheap and flimsy. A well-built boat at a reasonable price.

Some Other Rafts We Considered

Lobotou 2 Person

This raft from Lobotou features a similar durable construction as the Boatify model. And with the possibility to connect an outboard using the optional motor bracket. If this raft came in a one-person model. This would be a fun boat to use.

NRS PackRaft

Another option we considered was the NRS PackRaft. It is lightweight and packs super small. If the raft was for adults I would try this one out for sure.

Things I Like About The Boatify One Person Inflatable White Water River Raft

Fits One Adult And One Child

  • The raft is small. But not so small. It comfortably fits me and my youngest son for easy padding. I like that he can hang over the side to splash and reach the water, and I can be confident he won’t fall in.

Will Be A Good Raft To Use For Fishing

  • While it doesn’t have rod holders. This small raft could easily be used for fishing in small lakes and rivers. With space to sit, as well as space for a tackle box and a cooler. This will be a great little fishing raft.

Light Weight

  • The compact size means it is lightweight. Easily carried and maneuvered by one person.

Unboxing And Testing Our Boatify One-Person Inflatable White Water Raft

Using The Boatify Raft

What’s it like to use a One-Person White Water Raft?

Inflating the Boatify Oneperson raft is quick enough using the included foot pump. It features three separate air chambers with each section inflated within a few minutes.

The included oars come in two separate parts and click together prior to being connected to the boat on a securable pivot point.

Paddling the boat is surprisingly efficient. It had been a while since I rowed in a boat, but once I got the hang of it we quickly covered the length of the lake with ease.

Packing Down the raft takes a bit of figuring out. Even though the bag is more than big enough, the large tube chambers are difficult to roll up and fit in the bag. That being said, I’m sure this will become easier with practice and once the material gets a little more pliable with age. Boatify Raft Oars
