Hi there not sure what’s gone wrong there. My noco gb 40 starts my 3.8 petrol with no problem. Also have the 70 and 150 for different applications. Massively happy with all of them. Plus had them for at least 2 years. The 150 is used at a garage and in use all the time in the cold weather

Hi I was bought one of these for Christmas last year. I used it once and thought I would charge it as it’s been in the car for a while . The red diamond warning light came on which apparently says it’s detected reverse polarity when it’s not connected to any battery , just trying to charge . I have swapped charger unit and same and in fact now it’s disconnected from charger it’s still red and on .

I’m not very pleased with my Noco GB40. I’ve owned it for over 2 years and and kept it charged as suggested. Every time I attempted to use it, the GB 40 doesn’t have enough power to do the job. I’m currently waiting for a response from Noco support regarding my experience with it.

I’m kind of disappointed in n the performance. I’ve used GB 40 to start my corvette and my lawn tractor about 5 times. And now it takes forever to charge and will hardly hold one. Maybe I got a lemon.

Thats no good to hear. I hope mine doesn’t fail also.
