Yeti Rambler Water Bottle Review

January 15, 2022 by Ben Leave a Comment

I got a new Yeti Rambler Water Bottle. I’ve wanted one forever and It’s so nice 👍 Yeti Rambler Water Bottle Review

I wouldn’t have purchased one for myself as they are ridiculously expensive. Fortunately for me, my wife is the best and got me one for my birthday. I look forward to many years of use from my new favorite water bottle.

Keep reading for my likes and dislikes in this…

Yeti Rambler Water Bottle Review – Expensive But Awesome

The Insulated Yeti Rambler 1l /36 oz with Chug Cap features Vacuum Double Wall Stainless construction and a tough Duracoat powder-coated finish. Very expensive but you do get a great water bottle for the price.

Previous Water Bottle

Contigo Matterhorn 32 oz  Stainless Steel Water Bottle

I love this water bottle! I have had it for around five years. It’s pretty beat up with dents, chips, and scratches but still very functional. It keeps water cold, is easy to clean, and I love that the lid is connected and doesn’t get in the way when drinking. If Wifey didn’t get me this new Yeti, I would have happily continued to use it or replace this with another one of the same.

The 32 oz Contigo Matterhorn is a great Stainless Steel Water Bottle. Let’s see how it stacks up against my new…

Yeti Rambler 36 oz / 1L Water Bottle With Chug Cap – Review

First impressions

The first thing I can say is this new Yeti Rambler Water Bottle feels high-end. Unlike cheaper water bottles where it feels like the cap is an afterthought.  The Yeti Chug Cap feels like it was a priority. That said, the cap is not connected, but it shouldn’t be too much of a problem as the cap is big and hopefully won’t get lost easily.  More about the Chug Cap next.

Yeti Duracoat

The SHARPTAIL TAUPE colorway looks amazing in the tough Yeti Duracoat powder-coated finish. I love the durability of powder coating and feel confident it will stay looking great for years to come.

The Chug Cap

The Yeti Rambler Chug Cap is great and from what I understand a newer item. The name is fitting as I couldn’t imagine chugging from a Rambler without one.  All parts are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Made from durable hard plastic, I can see this lasting a long time.Yeti Rambler Chug Cap

Things I Like:

  • The big loop in the top cap makes it easy to carry as well as easy clipping with a carabiner.
  • The Chug cap is easy to remove, giving a large opening for easy filling. Lots of space for adding ice.
  • The Chug Cap Assembly is replaceable. If it breaks or wears out you don’t have to toss the bottle.

Things I Don’t Like:

  • No rubber bottom. Not a deal-breaker, just a feature I like on my Coleman Growlers.

The Questions People Are Asking About The Yeti Rambler Water Bottle

How Long Does A Yeti Water Bottle Keep Drinks Cold?

This is relative as it varies depending on ambient temperatures as well as the quality of the ice. I think it is safe to say, a Yeti Water Bottle will keep drinks cold ALL DAY.

How Long Does Water Stay Hot In A Yeti

Just like with cold drinks a Yeti Rambler can keep water hot also. Just how long water stays hot in a Yeti depends on a few variables. Ambient temperature being the main factor. The consensus seems to be that a Yeti Water Bottle will keep water hot for six hours.

Why Are Yeti Water Bottles So Expensive?

Quality products built with high-end materials and industry-leading technology make Yeti the luxury brand in water containers. This is why Yeti Water Bottles are so expensive.

Are Yeti Water Bottles Worth It?

Having used many lower-cost water bottles and insulated tumblers, I can confidently say. Yes, Yeti water bottles are worth it.

Do Yeti Water Bottles Sweat?

Double-wall vacuum insulation ensures Yeti Water Bottles will not sweat even in the most humid locations.

Can Yeti Water Bottles Go In The Dishwasher?

Yes, Yeti Rambler water bottles are dishwasher safe. Nuff said 😂
