Things I Like About The IWATANI Smokeless Korean Barbecue Grill
Small And Lightweight
It is small, and definitely not going to feed more than two or three people quickly. That’s ok though as we want to keep our kit as small and lightweight as possible.
Easy To Clean
Grilling marinated meats makes the grill plate a little messy. No problem though, as the small size allows the grill plate to fit in the dishwasher.
Burns Hot
Don’t be fooled by the size, this small butane burner grills hot. Plenty hot enough to sizzle up some of your grill favorites.
Spare Butane Canisters Take Up Less Space
Spare butane canisters take up little space. You can easily fit a couple of extras in your kit for the inevitable mid-cook-up bottle change.
Some Safety Precautions To Follow If You Are Using A Butane BBQ Grill
I’m sure the instruction manual includes detailed operating instructions as well as all the relevant safety precautions. The problem is the instruction manual is in a language I don’t understand. Now, the pictures on the box show some self-explanatory information, but, f you are unsure about the safe operation of your butane stove, please discontinue use and seek expert advice. 💥
Korean Smokeless Barbecue Grill FAQs

How many people can this serve? The Iwatani Korean Smokeless BBQ can quickly cook a dinner for two. For more mouths add more time as the plate is small and crowding it is not recommended.
What type of gas does it take? It takes the 8oz Butane Fuel Canister Cartridge
Can a Korean BBQ grill be used inside? With good ventilation (Rangehood / Exhaust Fan) it is possible to use this grill inside., although we have no plans to use it inside the van.
IWATANI Smokeless Korean Barbecue Grill – Good For Vanlife?
The Smokeless Korean Barbecue Grill from Iwatani cooks hot and gets a good burn time. It takes up minimal space and at a decent price, it is a fun way to grill up on your next adventure.
